One of our main goals is to provide as much transparency as possible in running our business. We also realize that very crucial topics may interest you more than others. It’s maybe the reason you managed to make it to this page.

We realize that one thing that differentiates different e-commerce stores is how they treat shipping. It includes their return and warranty policies, which could ultimately be why you buy from one e-commerce over another.

It could be you choose to get one product instead of a very similar one from a different manufacturer. Understand better the philosophy that has gone into the various policies we are making. You might also be interested in reading different sections on our website.

Shipping is the art of ensuring our valued customers get the products they have been ordering from us. It includes handling the packages and what you can expect from us on that topic.

To better understand our shipping policy, it’s important that you also understand where we are coming from. Understand how our business works so that we aren’t setting unrealistic expectations. We want to help you get your products as fast as possible. We have tried it ourselves where you order a product. You are as excited as a kid on Christmas day to receive it so you can start playing with it.

When you visit a product page on our site, you must pay attention to several things. It includes the product specifications that you can access. Still, another few things may also be interesting for you to understand better. It includes whether we ship the product you are ordering or ship from the manufacturer. It can come from another company we may have an arrangement with.

It will also be listed on the specific page where you will find the product. We work with different companies. We can’t reasonably include all the manufacturers’ shipping information on this page. You may have to look at the page related to the individual product to see if you are happy with the information listed there.

If we are the ones shipping the product

While we are responsible for shipping many of the different products available on this site, we also work with partners. When we ship the product from either one of our warehouses, we do everything to ensure that the package is shipped in 2 days or less. However, you may receive tracking information as quickly as 15 minutes after your order. We may already be able to provide you with the relevant tracking number at that point.

If a company that we are working with is the one shipping the product

Things may sometimes get in the way of the world running quite as smoothly as we would hope. We arrange with manufacturers and other parties to ship the products no later than 3 days after the order has been placed. When you place an order for a product, we aren’t shipping out. We notify the specific company that an order has been placed. We provide them with the relevant information to be shared with that company to process the order promptly.

When we get a tracking number from that company, we include it as quickly as possible in our backend system. At this point, notification is sent out to you, either by text message or email. It depends on the specifications that you have provided. You will be able to track the shipment.

When a situation arises where it takes longer than 3 days to receive a tracking number, we reach out to them. We want clarification on the order and know where it is to know how to best proceed with you. Suppose we believe that the situation warrants immediate action. In that case, we will contact you in the way we believe is the best possible to reach you.

At this point, we can address the concerns and see if anything additional needs to be done. Whenever we deem there isn’t enough reason to contact you manually, we will update you. It includes what you may expect as soon as we hear back on that particular order. You may always reach out to our team when you feel you have questions about your order that you are hoping to have answered.

Be aware that we may override the policies regarding individual products on their respective pages. The place where you can go to get as accurate information as possible will be by visiting those pages. We will also be linking to individual agreements with manufacturers and sellers. In cases where those policies differ from the universal policies that we have thoroughly explained in our various policy pages.

Return policy

This section outlines our returns policy regarding products we sell and products that other companies will ship.

It is important to note that there are situations where these return policies do not apply. We would love to create a universal return policy that applies to all the various products on our site. The reality is that that would not be possible for a range of different reasons. Some of them have to depend on the practicality of returning objects and ensuring that they haven’t been used.

The reality is that our site features many different products across the platform from a range of different manufacturers. Our team has been thoroughly evaluated as ones that we believe you will like. We think you would want to be purchasing products from. At the same time, that doesn’t necessarily mean that they all have the same return policies on their products. Some may have more lenient return policies.

They can easily accept the returns and ensure that the quality of the good has not been compromised in the process. Instead, they will easily sell the same good to a new buyer without the good having lost any of its value. However, there are situations where it would be more impractical.

There are situations where you buy a waste oil heater. Return policies may be different among the different manufacturers that we work with. Different manufacturers producing different engine-driven welders may choose to have different return policies. There is no reason these different manufacturers shouldn’t have different return policies. They are publishing and choosing to work with us on this platform, but we want to work with them.

Maybe you decide you are going down to the grocery store to pick up a gallon of milk. You accept you won’t have the right to return the milk. It includes that the grocery store may not be able to assure that the milk has been stored at a temperature that wouldn’t go bad. It is against health regulations to accept the return of a gallon of milk and sell it to a different consumer.

We accept various return policies. Depending on the manufacturer you are buying from, there may also be different return policies on this website. The return policy for an object shipped out from our warehouse will have the return policy here on this specific page. 

When buying any product, you must check for the return policy on that specific page. Make sure it has a return policy that you accept and stand by. It will make the whole transaction easier for both you and us. Review the return policy listed when you buy something that ships from the manufacturer. It’s listed on the individual item’s product listing page. Quickly figure out which rules will be applied to that specific purchase. 

We want to be fair to both the users of this site and the manufacturers we are working with. It is important to note the steep costs associated with handling and processing. It’s especially when these orders require customization or insurance beyond manufacturing. When you start talking about the cost of shipping, certain products incur bigger shipping than other products may have to incur.

You may be able to ship out a very light product for less than $10. After you account for the cost of handling a product, other products may weigh hundreds of pounds. It cannot simply be picked up by a worker and easily shipped out. Easy equipment needs to be used to get the product moved out the door. There may also be hundreds of dollars associated with the actual cost of getting the product shipped for products that weigh that much.

Accepting free returns would mean a high cost that the company incurs if they choose to accept that. Some companies may be willing to incur this cost. Other companies may choose that their return policies will incur a fee. They may only be willing to accept return orders under certain conditions, like if the product has been damaged. 

For the products that are being shipped out of one of our warehouses, the following policies apply: 

  • We accept the return of unused items within 30 days of the date that you received the purchase. It starts from the day when the shipping tracking information deems that the order was delivered. It is assuming you have a valid receipt. 
  • The return period is 30-days, starting from the original date of delivery. 
  • Equipment must clearly be in the original box. It may not have been opened to ensure its original condition.
  • When a buyer is returning a product, shipping costs are paid by the buyer.
  • There is a 10% restocking fee for items returned where the return is not a consequence of our mistake. It’s when the buyer simply wants to return the product. This may perhaps not seem fair. This fee is used to cover the expenses that we have incurred throughout the process. 
  • Pre-owned equipment will have its own return policy attached to the individual listing where you may have bought it from. 

Requesting a return

You can request a return by reaching out to us through the contact page listed on Atlantic Aspiration.

Some things need to be included when you request the return of an item: 

  • In the message for us, please let us know why you wish to return the item you purchased. By doing so, we can help you get the request processed, or we can help you find the best solution for your needs. 
  • When you return a shipment to us, this should be done in the original shipping package that you received the order in. The order packaging of the product should not have been altered from its original state. Make sure to additionally include the packing slip and return label for us to easily be able to process your request. 
  • It is important to notice that items can only be returned in the same condition that they were received.

The cost of returning your shipment

Atlantic Aspiration does not coordinate the return of products. The responsibility falls on the customer unless you have received a faulty product and we cannot remedy the situation. You may choose to use the shipping carrier of your choice. You are likely sending relatively expensive equipment back to us. We recommend that you purchase adequate insurance, which helps ensure that loss or damage is covered. If a shipment is not received on our end in the condition that you received it, we may choose not to issue a refund. 

Damaged merchandise and delivery policy

Did you receive any packages that arrive in a condition that you do not believe is their intended condition? Maybe there are damaged or missing parts. You must take immediate action and notify us about the situation. We require that you notify us of such matters no later than 5 business days after receiving your package.

Our shipments are packaged to minimize the risk of being damaged in transit. It does happen that packages do not make it to their final destination in the intended state. Please make sure that your package has arrived in the state it was supposed to. Make sure nothing has been damaged. Suppose you notice that anything has not been received in its intended state. You mustn’t start trying to use the product. Rather notify us as quickly as possible, as we must work with the shipping vendor to remedy the situation.

Damaged or missing parts

Some of the products may ship out in different or multiple packages. This is often done when it is prohibitively difficult to send out a package as a single unit. While we wish it would be possible to ensure that all the packages arrive simultaneously, it is sometimes not the case. While we know that it would be preferred if all packages arrived as one, we wish that would be feasible. We cannot ensure that all the packages are delivered simultaneously, although they commonly are.

Receive a package but do not believe you have received the entire shipment. You cannot locate any other information. Please reach out to our team to find the missing parts as fast as possible. It could be that a tracking number wasn’t properly attached to your order.

We may find it and send it to you as we open up our systems. It could also be that a shipment has been stuck somewhere and that we can reach out to the carrier to find out what the holdup is. If we cannot find a missing shipment, we will work with you to have the situation fixed as fast as possible. It may take us some time to figure out what the situation requires accurately. You must contact us as early as possible to get the situation fixed. 

Issuance of refunds

We can’t issue refunds to any other means than what was used to pay for the product. 

We maintain the right to make changes.

As per our terms and condition, the refund policy applies to products being sold on Atlantic Aspiration. It also covers the same right to change the shipping, return and refund policy. The shipping and refund policy that covers your purchase was in place when the purchase was placed. This terms page may be updated without notice. We may announce changes to the shipping and refund policy page with no more than 24 hours of notice. The date that the new policy comes into effect will be mentioned at the top of the document.
