Scared neighbours reported to the police that the animal was more than a meter long.
The scare of their lives was had by residents of a residential area of Iowa, United States when they spotted an alleged alligator in the middle of the street, so the inhabitants of the place did not hesitate to make the complaint to the officials in charge of the services of local animals.
Upon receiving the complaint that a alligator over a meter long was in the parking lot, the Animal Rescue League immediately deployed an operation to catch the dangerous animal, for which the officers were sent to an apartment complex located in Des Moines.
When the authorities arrived at the location, the surprise invaded the officers when they realized that it was not an alligator, and that what frightened the neighbours was a plush toy of more than one meter that imitated the shape of the gator.
Immediately, the authorities made use of their social networks to issue a statement in which they explained what happened in the case: “Des Moines residents saw a huge reptile resting in a parking lot. They called us immediately eagerly awaiting our arrival. While their fear was real, the alligator was not. “
Additionally, they reported that the stuffed crocodile is now safe in the care of ARL Animal Services. Likewise, they compared the case with another that occurred a few days ago. A group of neighbours in Poland reported the appearance of a supposed reptile at the top of a tree; But when the authorities arrived at the site, they discovered that it was a strange giant croissant.
