The woman was kayaking in a river, but was swept away by the current offshore.
A 10-year-old boy on Monday rescued an endangered woman who lost control while kayaking off the coast of the British town of Teignmouth, local press reports.
The woman practiced this sport in a river that connects to the sea, when she was swept away by the current. People who were on the beach noticed that he needed help, so Jay Springall got into his boat and left for the woman.
The kayaker was exhausted and unable to get on the boat, so the minor tied the kayak to the canoe with a rope and towed it until rescuers arrived. The boy’s mother reported that Jay paddles frequently in that area and knows its waters well.
