Did You Know That Disney Has A Private Island?

At this point, to be amazed by another of the mouse’s earnings would be naive, but it does also have an island in the Bahamas where only tourists from their cruise ships arrive.

The turquoise color of the Caribbean, lush vegetation, the ideal climate to jump into the water or sunbathe on the beach with all the magic of the Disney universe. Yes, all of that on Castaway Cay, your private island in the Bahamas.

Only a few arrive there: those who board any of the Disney Cruise Line company cruises: Disney Magic, Disney Fantasy, Disney Dream or Disney Wonder. All the cruises of this fleet that sail the waters of the Caribbean make a stop on this practically deserted island: only 60 people live on it to take care of the annual maintenance.

The island is less than 500 hectares, four kilometers long and only 20 percent of the land is developed. The rest is tropical vegetation, mangroves, green areas, all of which remain intact to preserve the beauty of the place.

As for its attractions are: a beach for families, quiet and safe; another beach for those who opt for the open sea and with a slight swell that is only allowed to those over 18 years of age. There is also the possibility of cycling the entire island, snorkeling in the reef, enjoying the slides with pirates, swimming with stingrays or riding a mini-catamaran.

Sounds like we should include it in our bucketlist (list of things to do before we die).
