It was seen last Sunday on the shores of the Granada town of Calahonda.
A shark between 3 and 4 meters was seen last Sunday just off of the beach in the Granada town of Calahonda (Spain). According to local media reports, the fact is attributed to the reduction of maritime traffic in the area, caused by the state of alarm decreed by the coronavirus pandemic.
The unusual event was captured on video and shared on social networks. Likewise, it is said that at the moment the shark was approaching the shore, a canoeist was in the water. The media pointed out that it is common to find shortfin mako in this area, but not sharks like the specimen sighted last weekend.
