Man Arrested For Taking His Fish Out For A Walk During Quarantine (Tweet)

A man was detained by the Spanish police for leaving in the midst of quarantine to take his fish for a “walk”.

Spain is one of the countries most affected by the coronavirus, the territory already has more than 219,000 infected. For this reason, the authorities have imposed to extend the quarantine until May 9. People are already tired of these measures, so now they invent surreal ideas to skip this and be able to go outside.

When it seemed that the police had already seen everything, a man surprised them with something unusual to circumvent the quarantine. Last Friday, a subject was intervened for taking his fish out for a walk.

The man was walking calmly through the streets in Logroño with a fish bowl in his hands when the police arrested him. The subject, who has not been identified, said he was walking his fish. Given this, the uniformed officers only fined him for breaching the rules of the State of Alarm.

The photo of the subject being intervened has gone viral on social networks and has been heavily criticized for not abiding by measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

People try to disobey quarantine

This is not the first time that someone has done this to bypass confinement. In another Spanish city a man took his chicken for a walk and published it on the internet, another guy in Bilbao left his house with the excuse of walking his crab on a leash.
