Kristian Laine took the surprise of his life by photographing the only pink stingray known in the world, which he baptized as Inspector Closeau.

Nature has incredible ways to surprise us with the different shapes, colours and sounds of some of the most spectacular species of the animal and plant kingdom across the planet.

Just a few days ago, nature surprised us with the discovery of a strange skeleton of an animal on the coast of Scotland, in addition to the discovery of the ‘Death Reaper’ a dinosaur much larger than the T-Rex.

Now we return to the present with the discovery of one of the most incredible animals in the ocean, which has just revealed a unique specimen on the planet, which has made it a celebrity in networks.

The first pink stingray appears

First of all, you may have that confusion, it is a stingray, not a line, they are of the same species but the line is much larger and more agile than its ‘cousin’.

On the beaches of Australia, the stingray can often be seen swimming along the coasts, because despite the rumours, they are quite docile animals, but like any other being they will not attack unless they are threatened.

Life changed completely for the famous professional photographer Kristian Laine, who captured with his camera an unprecedented event, giving evidence of the existence of the first known pink stingray, which is a male of approximately one year old who has even been named as ‘Inspector Closeau’

“I had no idea that there were pink rays, it confused me a lot and I thought the flash was broken or that I was doing something weird.”

This was the statement that Kristian Laine gave at a time where he was completely shocked, because he did not believe what his eyes and his camera were contemplating, but you have to see to believe, right?

With this the scientists have been totally impressed and without a doubt this will initiate a lot of research on the species and this new genetic mutation, where it is expected that it will not be the only one with this incredible colour.
