As detailed by Daily Star, the remains of the strange creature were found by Erika Constantine, a 25-year-old woman who was walking with her dog through an area called Sunrise Park, in North Carolina, United States. Suddenly, she made the discovery that became a trend on Facebook.

The woman walked with her dog called ‘River’, when suddenly the pet escapes and begins to sniff something in the distance. She approaches to see what it is, without imagining that she would end up locating the remains of a very strange creature that scared her by her terrifying appearance.

“It was the size of a small dog, but its body suggests that it is definitely not a dog. I have lived here for about five years and I have never encountered anything like that. I thought someone would say, ‘Oh, it’s like a seal’, and then I would continue my day, but it surprised many people, “said the woman.

“There are so many theories about what it is. The cops said it was a possum, it definitely isn’t. Someone said it was a wildcat, which was interesting because they have similar ribs,” added the young woman who lives very close to Morgan Island, an island inhabited by monkeys that houses an American laboratory.
