A strange image went viral on Facebook, you can see how luckily, the boy is still alive after he was pierced by a fish that jumped directly into his neck while he was walking quietly along a river.
The story, which went viral on Facebook and other social networks, features Muhammad Idul, a 16-year-old boy from Indonesia who was preparing to go fishing with his parents around a river without knowing that it could have been the last time he did it.
It happens that while he was fishing without any problems, a fish jumped with such force that it hit directly in his neck, piercing him and leaving him very badly injured since the animal had hit to him like a medieval spear.
While these fish aren’t particularly dangerous to people there have been reports of injuries and deaths.
Thai navy trainee Kriangsak Pengpanich, 22, died in December 2018 when a needlefish pierced his neck during a training exercise.
Given this, the teenager was taken to the nearest hospital emergency, which after making the respective reviews, Dr Syafri Kamsul Arif confirmed that the surgery was the most effective method at this time and that, above all things, he was lucky because the fish had pierced his neck behind his bones, due to large vessels in the boy’s neck. It took two hours to perform the procedure.
