Justice investigates the circumstances in which the accident occurred. On Wednesday, a 70-year-old man lost his life in similar circumstances.
A 52-year-old woman died Thursday at the Mar del Plata Interzonal Hospital after falling from the top of a wall on a beach in La Perla. The victim, identified as Patricia Squizziatto, was a native of the seaside resort and was enjoying the day on the coast when, for reasons that were not yet established, she fell from more than six meters against the path located under the structure.
After the accident, which occurred on Wednesday, the woman was assisted by the beach lifeguards until the arrival of an SAME ambulance. Then, paramedics stabilized her and transferred her to the local health center, where she was admitted to intensive care , with an artificial respirator and in serious condition.
Despite the efforts of the doctors, the woman died this morning as a result of severe head trauma, according to the medical report provided by a source from the public health center.
The day before, a 70-year-old man , identified as Delfino Garay, also died when he fell from the roof of a house in the Peralta Ramos Oeste neighborhood of Mar del Plata.
The accident was recorded after noon, when Garay hit the ground after falling from seven meters high . Immediately, he was transferred by a neighbor to the General Interzonal Hospital of Agudos (Higa) where, after 17 hours, he died as a result of the injuries caused by the fall.
