The vessel would have two 28-ton vacuum sealed tanks that will remain at 253 ° C below zero.
Sinot Yatch Architecture & Design company presented its new luxury yacht concept on Wednesday at the annual Monaco Yacht Show, the prototype of a vessel that will run on liquid hydrogen.
This is Aqua, a futuristic design yacht 112 meters in length that surprises with its sumptuous design with five decks, exclusive rooms, a gym, a yoga studio, a beauty salon and heated pools on the deck.
The yacht combines the avant-garde finishes with innovative and respectful technology with the ocean, since it will have a hydroelectric system that produces zero emissions and will make noise and vibration minimal. The engine feeds on liquefied hydrogen, stored in two 28-ton vacuum sealed tanks, which are kept at 253 degrees Celsius below zero to maintain the liquid state of the fuel.
Its engine is capable of offering an autonomy that borders 7,000 kilometers, so that Acqua can navigate from Barcelona to New York without refueling.
In addition to its novel fuel source, the company has put considerable effort into creating a connection environment in different areas. For this, the yacht has a glass gazebo on the bow and a large staircase around a water fountain.
In the back it presents two entertainment areas, with a pool and sun loungers. The rooms will be equipped with an intelligent energy consumption control system.
The designers have not left any detail to the air, and that is why to ensure safety on board they have equipped the ship with an ‘air taxi’ and a helipad that will be used in emergencies.
Sinot has presented the prototype of this magnificent vessel at a scale of 3 meters.
