As part of the celebration of the 75th anniversary of bilateral relations between Mexico and Canada, Tall Ship Cuauhtémoc de México will return to Halifax next month.

The vessel will be open to the public at Pier 24 on Sunday May 5th from 10:00 am. at 4 pm, after 10 am to 8 pm between Monday, May 6 and Wednesday, May 8.

The ship carries a message of peace and goodwill in ports and seas around the world.

Also known as ambassador and Gentleman of the Seas, she will be received by the ambassador of Mexico, Juan José Gómez Camacho, the ambassador Alejandro Estivill, consul general of Mexico in Montreal, as well as by other diplomatic representatives and members of the community Mexican.

In addition, the Consulate General of Mexico in Montreal, with the support of the Honorary Consul of Mexico in Halifax, Mr. Galo Carrera, will provide consular services to the Mexican community living in Nova Scotia by organizing a “mobile consulate” at the Residence Inn. Marriott in Halifax on Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5, 2019.

After leaving Halifax, the Tall Ship Cuauhtémoc will travel to Europe to tour around until September.
