The man was treated for his injuries by beach lifeguards, but then declined to go to a health center because he was invited to have drinks at a bar.
A shark attacked a professional surfer on Saturday at a beach in Jacksonville, in northeast Florida (USA), causing deep arm wounds.
The wounded, Frank O’Rourke, was treated quickly for his injuries by the first responders, but when he was asked to go to the hospital, the athlete preferred to go to a bar, reports FOX News.
According to RJ Berger, a friend of the surfer, O’Rourke decided to go to the bar because “people told him:” We will buy you drinks. “
It has not been specified the kind of shark that made the attack.
