Encouraged by a friend, the young diver took the incredible risk of capturing a close-up of the shark’s jaws, five meters long and weighing 1,360 kilograms.
A diver named Luke Thom, 26, managed to escape unharmed after taking a spectacular photograph of a white shark that threatened him a few centimeters in the waters of the Neptune Islands in southern Australia, as seen in the snapshot that this Monday was broadcast on social networks.
In the photograph, which has become popular on the Web, one can see how the predator – five meters long and weighing 1,360 kilograms – shows its sharp teeth above the surface of the sea while Thom, with half a body outside A cage against sharks, with one hand holds the camera at water level, as detailed by DailyMail .
In another snapshot the shark is seen biting the metallic guard. “These sharks are really amazing animals and need protection, as well as minimal human impact,” said Thom, who explained that he decided to take the risk of getting that image animated by a friend.
