Supply of fuel to two Iranian freighters, one of them was loaded with corn, which has been stationed since June at the Port of Paranaguá (PR).  

The process is under secrecy, but the information has been confirmed by various media outlets. The state company claims that it has not supplied the vessels because they are subject to US sanctions and therefore fears being punished. 

In the decision, Toffoli argues that the exporter Eleva Química, which hired the ships, was not sanctioned by the US government and that, as a court order, Petrobras will not be punished. 

On Wednesday, Iran threatened to suspend its imports from Brazil if ships are not replenished.”
