On a beach in the Dutch city of Vlissingen, the sand dredge ship Bonny River passed too close to the coast without slowing down.
The boat caused a huge wave that forced tourists to flee the area. At least seven people were injured.
Three of them, an adult and two children, aged 3 and 5, were hospitalized.
The ship was sailing at a speed of 26 kilometers per hour, which is enough to generate strong waves.
