Crocodiles are predators that can feed on a wide range of large vertebrates, but most of their diet consists of fish and minor vertebrates.
One of the most prominent characteristics of crocodile teeth is their ability to regenerate. Although in the mouth of a crocodile only fit between 70 and 80 teeth, throughout their life they can have up to 3,000 teeth. But how is it possible? Because they regenerate them. It should be borne in mind that it is common for crocodiles to lose some of their teeth during the fight , either during their prey hunting or during territorial fights against other members of their species.
