A Seaman Hoisted After Suffering Discomfort, Off of Ushant

The force 6 winds did not facilitate the intervention of the helpers, Sunday afternoon. A sailor, victim of a malaise, was still transported to the White Cavalry.

It was 2 pm when the Sea Rescue Coordination Center (Cross) Corsen received a call from the Melizenn trawler stating that a 49-year-old sailor on board is suffering from discomfort.

The vessel of 25 meters is then in the zone of nautical activity of Ouessant, to 110 km of Lanvéoc.

The Caiman Navy helicopter responded with difficulty due to poor weather, including extremely strong winds.

The sailor was finally admitted to La Cavale Blanche at 16:15.
