It was in rectangular packages inside five black sports bags

On Thursday, Peruvian authorities seized 400 kilos of marijuana aboard the Portuguese-flagged cargo ship Ever Conquest, which came from the Colombian port of Buenaventura, according to the Peruvian Prosecutor’s Office.

In this regard, the prosecutor Carlos Augusto Bedoya, of the Special Prosecutor’s Office for crimes of illicit drug trafficking from Callao, the port city bordering Lima, questioned the captain of the ship (of Polish origin) and the rest of his crew, to determine the origin and destination of the drug.

Marijuana was apparently found in rectangular packages inside five black sports bags, apparently found inside the crew compartments.
