A resident of South Carolina captured this wonderful video about bottlenose dolphins that fish.
The clip, which was captured at Folly Beach earlier this month, shows that marine mammals perform so-called “strand feeding”.
Working together, dolphins drive the fish near the shore, and then charge, pulling the fish and themselves out of the water. After the fish are beached, the dolphins easily grab them before sliding back into the sea.
“In this case, the dolphin was really waiting for me to pass the fish to him before I enter the water again,” said filmmaker Ashley Wolfe.
