A Drunk Captain from Russia Landed a Ship Stranded off the Coast of Sweden

The captain of the dry cargo ship BBC Lagos, while in a state of intoxication, landed the ship stranded off the coast of Sweden.

As the press secretary of the Southern region of the police, Fredrik Bratt, told TASS, when detaining a sailor, a Russian passport was found.

“The content of alcohol in the captain’s blood is 2.5 ppm. This is a very large indicator, which means that the offender may face punishment in the form of imprisonment, “he added. The court hearing on this case will take place no later than August 7.

It is specified that the cargo vessel BBC Lagos, registered in the Caribbean islands, transported 5 thousand tons of wheat from Lithuania to Spain.
