Salmon Removal Still In Progress From Ship That Sunk Three Weeks Ago 

A second vessel with capacity for 600 cubic meters was added to the work of extracting salmon from the ship that sunk three weeks ago in Chonchi.

The maneuvers to obtain the total extraction of the 214 tons of decaying salmon from the sunken ship in the Bay of Pilpilehue are still under development.

To the initial works of the vessel “Doña Mariana”, the maritime governor of Castro, Héctor Aravena, explained that the “Don Pedro” wellboat with a capacity of 600 cubic meters was added.
