They have been told to stay away by Dutch police
Hull passengers have been left stranded in the Netherlands after a “suspicious package” was found.
Customers were due to board the Pride of Rotterdam just before 5pm, but are still waiting in a nearby pub and are unable to board the ferry.
Sam, a passenger being held in Rotterdam, said: “We are stuck in the Netherlands and not allowed to board the ship, and the coach has driven far away from the ship.
“Police and military are in the building, with all vehicles being turned away. We have been moved into a pub. They’ve told us they have found a suspicious package in the terminal and it is being investigated.”
According to Sam, the coach full of passengers was driven away for their “own safety”.
All passengers are currently being told to stay away by police.
