Two blackouts have put the tanker Bow Spring on the Westerschelde this morning.
The Wester Scheldt, The first blackout occurred at 8.05 a.m. west of Terneuzen. After a while, the crew managed to get the engine running again, but it was not long when another blackout occurred.
The ship dropped anchor and was then taken in tow by tugs to the Terneuzen Put for further investigations. It was held in position by the tugs “Braakman” (IMO: 8915457), and „Gent“ (IMO: 8409306) with the “RWS 78” of Rijskwaterstaat as guard.
