The Japanese coast guard will interrogate 10 citizens of North Korea, discovered on a ship in the territorial waters of Japan near the island of Hokkaido. This is reported on Thursday by the NHK television channel.
Representatives of the Coast Guard said they had discovered the ship the day before, but could not approach it because of the weather. At present, they plan to take a wooden boat into a tow and move it to a safe area for inspection.
According to the source of the channel, it is possible that the North Koreans were engaged in illegal fishing in the territorial waters of Japan.
In mid-November it was reported that the Japanese Coast Guard discovered the North Korean fishermen who had collapsed and ordered them to be transferred to their homeland.
