Sea Trucks Group’s subsidiary West African Ventures was awarded with contract for provision of an accommodation vessel to a deepwater field offshore Nigeria. The contract is scheduled to commence in October 2016 for a duration of 3 months with options to extend. The scope of the work includes accommodation support services for 250 passengers plus provision of marine logistics support. For the operations will be deployed DP-3 accommodation construction vessel Jascon 30, which is equipped with a 270-metric ton (298-ton) heave compensated main crane and features with accommodation for 296 persons and unobstructed deck space of 700 sq m. The finance details of the contract are not disclosed.
