The vessel was en route with cargo of sand, but started getting water into the engine room. The crew informed the local authorities about the danger of sinking and at the scene of the accident was dispatched a crane, which offloaded part of the sand from the cargo hold and situation was put under control. The general cargo ship Hui Feng 1799 remained afloat and the salvage operation for pumping out of the water is under way, without immediate danger of sinking. According to the local authorities, during the accident, there were no injured people and no water pollution
