DEA Norge awarded Aker Solutions with two contracts worth at least 113 million USD to provide a subsea production and services at the Dvalin natural gas development off Norway. The field will be developed as subsea tieback to the adjacent Heidrun platform on 95 nautical miles north off Kristiansund. Aker Solutions was hired to provide a manifold for production system encompassing, four subsea trees and a 15-kilometre-long umbilical that will connect the production system to the Heidrun platform. The extracted gas will be transported via Heidrun platform through the Polarled pipeline to the Nyhavna processing plant in Norway.
Also, DEA Norge and Aker Solutions agreed a five-year framework contract for maintenance and servicing these new subsea production systems, including installation and commissioning services

Aker Solution will deliver the subsea trees from the plant in Tranby, manifolds from the Egersund yard, the umbilical from the factory in Moss and controls systems from Aberdeen, UK. The maintenance and services will be provided by Aker Solutions’ service base in Agotnes, Norway.
