The cargo throughput of Port of Helsinki in Finland increased by 1.7% in January-November 2016 compared to the same period last year, to 9.77 million tons. The volume of transshipment of bulk cargo increased by 6.2% to 0.91 million tonnes> The turnover of general cargo during reported period increased by 1.7% to 9.77 million tonnes, while imports totaled 4.64 million tons (+3.8%) and exports amounted to 5.13 million tons (-0.2%). The container turnover reached 415,140 TEU, which is 5.9% more than in January-November 2015, when were handled 392,000 TEU. Trucks and trailers transshipped through the port ramp 484,850 Units (+2%).
The linear transport of passengers increased by 3%, to 10.63 million people.
