MICHOACÁN. 

Armed Forces in Michoacán secured almost 70 kilograms of cocaine that was found inside a suitcase in the port of Lázaro Cárdenas aboard a ship that arrived from Ecuador and with the flag of Denmark.

Derived from intelligence work carried out by elements of the Navy and National Defense, the staff was notified of an illegal activity, where they proceeded to review the container on board the vessel.

After the opening and review of the container by sailors and military, Semar personnel found a black suitcase inside which had 61 packages with cocaine that gave a total weight of 69.88 kilograms.

The drug was available to the authorities, who carried out the corresponding tests, determined the ministerial weight and integrated an investigation folder.
