Distracted By His Cell Phone While Driving Then Notices People Walking In Front Him And This Happens (VIDEO)

The accident was caught on a narrow road located in the Chinese city of Zunyi, south of the Asian country.

The driver of the car ended up in a river. The scene, recorded on video thanks to a security camera, was captured on a street in Zunyi, a city located in the province of Guizhou, in southern China.

As you can see in the recording uploaded to YouTube, the car was driving down a narrow pass and a few seconds after turning onto the bridge, he turned the vehicle to the left, which caused him to fall into the water. The driver himself, identified as Mr. Zhang, said he was reading a text messages on his cell phone when all of a sudden he noticed pedestrians in front of him, he panicked and unintentionally turned the steering wheel.

“Fortunately, the car floated for a while. I couldn’t open the driver’s side door, so I had to go out the door on the other side. Otherwise, I may have never left,” said the man, who ended up with a dislocated hand.

The video shared on YouTube shows that some witnesses who were nearby and helped the driver out of the water. Subsequently, his car was removed from the river by a crane.
