Two US military ships collide near the US coast.

The missile cruiser Leyte Gulf and a freighter from the United States Navy suffered an accident near the eastern coast of the country.

The press office of the Navy reports that the incident caused no casualties.

The collision took place during the refueling and was not serious, so both vessels could continue the trip.

A Fleet officer, quoted by the United States Naval Institute, said that the service vessel suffered a dent of about 20 centimeters, while the Leyte Gulf suffered minor damage to the deck.

The US Navy will investigate the case.
