United States: Helicopter Crashes on an Aircraft Carrier Off the Coast of the Philippines

The Navy helicopter crashed shortly after takeoff. The number of injured is unknown, but all of them are out of danger

Tokyo. A helicopter of the Navy United States on Friday crashed into the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan, causing lethal to marine wounded, the Navy said.

The aircraft, a Seahawk MH-60, crashed shortly after takeoff on Friday morning, when the aircraft carrier was off the coast of the Philippines, the 7th Navy Fleet said in a statement.

All the injured sailors were stable and their wounds were safe, added the body, which did not specify the number of injured. Some of them will be examined and treated when they reach land, the statement said without specifying the destination.

The Navy did not provide details about the damage suffered by the helicopter or the vessel but noted that the aircraft carrier could fulfill its mission of security and stability in the Indo-Pacific region. The aircraft carrier also resumed its training of pilots.
