A collision in the Canary Islands between the fast-ferry Alborán, which belongs to Naviera Armas, and a recreational boat has caused three people to fall into the sea, which was searched with a wide search device. The ferry covered the route between Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Santa Cruz de Tenerife when the collision occurred, for which three people have rushed to the water, although at first it was thought that the number of affected was greater but later it has been proven that this was not the case. Maritime Rescue moved to the place a rescue helicopter, the Helmer 202, and a boat to rescue the individuals, who were referred to the Doctor Negrin Hospital, where a 40-year-old man was treated with a mild knee injury.
The Armas ship returned to the Nelson Mandela dock in the port of La Luz in the Gran Canaria capital and one of the passengers was treated for an anxiety crisis.
