The largest ship of the British Royal Navy is in New York for a week.

The aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth entered the port of New York on Friday with about 1,500 crew members.

Its commander, Captain Jerry Kyd, said the visit is “very symbolic of the intimate relationship the Royal Navy has with the US Navy and the Marines.”
