Prefecture Aeroevacuted an Injured Crew Member

This morning Naval Prefecture aeroevacuó to a crew member of a powerboat that was injured on the high seas, at the height of Comodoro Rivadavia. He arrived with the injured man at the local port around 7:50 and was transferred to the Regional Hospital.

At 5 o’clock in the morning of this Friday, two Prefectural Naval aircrafts mobilized to look for an injured crew member on the high seas.

“He came in a boat and suffered an accident on the high seas, he was hit with a stainless-steel gutter, about 80 kilos in the cranial area, causing a series of fainting spells that made his life in danger,” said Humberto Haunau, chief of Naval Prefecture in Comodoro Rivadavia.

“Both the plane and the helicopter that we have for these cases were mobilized and the crew was aero-evacuated. At 7:50 arrived at the local port and then transferred to the Regional Hospital for better care, “said Haunau in dialogue with Radio Del Mar.

The head of Prefectura indicated that the ship in which the injured crew member was sailing in a fishing zone, near Comodoro Rivadavia, near mile 200.
