The high speed has begun to unite cities of India. The train called ‘Shinkansen’, of Japanese manufacture will transport travellers between the cities of Ahmedabad and Mumbai, separated by 507 kilometres, in three hours.
As reported by Cultura Inquieta, the construction of the high-speed railroad began during the month of September and its completion is scheduled in 2022.
As if it were a walk through an aquarium, passengers aboard the bullet train can see plants and aquatic animals for almost the entire journey, as they will cross a transparent tunnel under the sea between the cities Thane and Virar (21 kilometres).
The Shinkansen, colloquially known in English as the bullet train, is a network of high-speed railway lines in Japan operated by five Japan Railways Group companies.
