Grounding at Ravelseidet No Damage to Boat or Crew

The “Eidholm” ran aground in the Rot Sound at Ravelseidet off Langslett in Nordreisa on Dec 25, 2017, at 10.58 p.m.

The vessel got stuck on a sandy bottom, and there was no damage to the hull. The ship had sailed from Tromsö-Breivika to fishfarms in the morning of Dec 24.

The crew was waiting for a higher water level to get the ship off again, which succeeded on Dec 26 at 2.30 a.m., and sailed on with own power.
