In the Leningrad region, during the ascent of a boat sunk in the Gulf of Finland in the vicinity of Vysotsk, a body of a deceased sailor was discovered. This was reported to “Interfax” in the press service of the North-Western Investigation Department of Transport of the TFR.
“The body of the second member of the crew was found when the boat was raised. The ship is towed to the shore. Investigative actions are being carried out, “the agency’s interlocutor noted.
According to him, the investigators will find out whether there was a collision between a motorboat and a dry cargo ship. “There is a version that the boat overturned as a result of the storm,” the press service added.
The search for the third crew member continues.
As reported, information about the incident in the vicinity of Vysotsk was received around 3:45 Tuesday. There was a dry cargo ship and a pilot boat. As a result of the emergency, the boat overturned and drifted off to the shore.
On the fact of the incident, a criminal case was initiated under Part 3 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of safety rules for the movement and operation of water transport).
On board the boat were three crew members. One was saved by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
